Comfort Adjahoe owns Ele Agbe, a soap and skincare company in Ghana, West Africa. Comfort lost her father at 8, worked as a street vendor to pay her high school fees and moved to Nigeria in the 1980s looking for better opportunities. While there, she began selling bread and ultimately purchased an oven and hired employees. This strong entrepreneur moved back to Ghana and launched Ele Agbe. She’s proud to offer her employees a consistent fair wage, a respectful work environment, training, and health care. Comfort’s goal is to help women and youth in Ghana’s rural areas produce quality products and become self-sufficient. She wants her company to become a leading supplier of quality African products.
