Upcycled Newspaper Trivet

Trivets (aka ‘hot pads’) are one of those kitchen items you accumulate throughout your cooking life until one day you find you've managed to lose the rubber ones from a certain Swedish big box store (so. many. boxes.) and your child flew the nest and took the sweet ones they made on a plastic loom.
